Brad has worked in the telecommunications industry for 32 years and is well versed in every project phase, bringing first-hand knowledge of installations, estimating, designing, and project managing to Geary Electric's Communications Division. Brad is a talented professional, contributing knowledge and strong problem-solving skills to every project he is involved with. His low-voltage background is diverse; Brad has extensive experience with specific knowledge of voice, data, video, OSP (Outside Plant) and low-voltage systems for event stadiums, federal buildings, high-tech data centers, office buildings, and airport expansions / renovations. His years of experience have provided him the expertise to ensure that all Geary Electric projects are delivered on-time, on-budget, and of the highest quality.

Daniel Thomas, RCDD - Communications Division Service Manager
As Communications Division Service Manager, Dan’s 29 years of industry experience provides a critical ingredient to the melting pot of technology and service demands in this fast paced field of Communications. Dan’s entire career has been dedicated to the Service / MAC environment. Formerly BlackBox Network Services, “Master Technician”, Dan serviced National Accounts for the Chicago Branch and provided Tech Support Services for customers and field personnel. As part of a team of Design Engineers at Geary Electric, Dan also serves as Service Coordinator and Field Supervisor.
Jim Rack, RCDD, NRC - Senior Project Manager / Estimator
Jim has worked in the telecommunications industry for 29 years and is well versed with every project phase. Jim is a self motivated individual and acknowledges the importance of complete customer satisfaction. His low-voltage background is diverse; Jim has extensive field experience as a technician, installation foreman and general foreman with telephone PBX installations, large voice & data cable infrastructure projects and fiber optic backbone systems including fusion splicing. Jim has been applying his field experience to his engineering and designing of systems, estimating and project managing for the past 20 years.
Tim Hardt - Project Manager / Estimator
Tim started in the industry back in 1993 as a field technician with a true passion for the trade. Since his first class, he learned the importance of customer service and a commitment to excellence. Tim has received many certifications and accreditations from many organizations such as Leviton, Siemon, Panduit, United States Green Building Council (USGBC), and BICSI. Tim is highly qualified with outside plant (OSP) and data center installations along with traditional Voice-Data & Fiber Optic Infrastructures. Some of Tim’s recent accomplishments include several LEED Certified buildings for Park Districts, Medical facilities, Waste Hauling Groups, Private and Public Schools along with various Rail Transportation Companies. Tim’s biggest reward is giving more than the customer ever expected a true asset any company would want to have.
